Goodreads is a free social networking website for book lovers. Imagine it as a large library that you can wander through and see everyone's bookshelves, their reviews, and their ratings. You can also post your own reviews and catalog what you have read, are currently reading, and plan to read in the future. Don’t stop there – join a discussion group, start a book club, contact an author, and even post your own writing.

LARC created an account and is using that to keep track of the books folks have recommended at the Teachers as Readers sessions and throughout the year. LARC Members can visit the site and view the LARC lists of books. Or interested folks can create individual logins and seek out other friends, fellow teachers, librarians, and LARC members to follow or add as friends.
When LARC adds books to its account, there's an option to categorize or tag each book. By clicking on each category we've set up, folks can see the books LARC has listed, read comments left by LARC members or read the general synopsis and see the user ratings from Goodreads.
